Explanation
BACKGROUND
This ordinance authorizes the annual appropriation of monies within the Citywide Training Entrepreneurial Fund (Fund 2298) for the Department of Human Resources. The funds allow the Department of Human Resources to enhance the training supplies, equipment, staff professional development, and course offerings at the Citywide Training and Development Center. This money is used for operating expenses consistent with the 2025 budget. The amount being appropriated within this ordinance is $43,000.00. The proposed expenditures are estimates and are subject to change.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $43,000.00 are currently available in the Citywide Training Entrepreneurial Fund and are specifically budgeted for this purpose. This ordinance appropriates the funds and allows for needed purchases to be made.

WHEREAS, an appropriation is needed to cover costs associated with the Citywide Training Entrepreneurial Fund; and
