Explanation
BACKGROUND: This ordinance authorizes a modification to the Sewer and Water Contract Service Area boundaries for service to residential and modestly-sized neighborhood scale commercial facilities with the City of Reynoldsburg by including an area bounded on the north and west by I-70, on the south by the Licking/Fairfield county line and on the east by the Tributary Boundary for the Blacklick Interceptor Sewer System Capacity Model.

Title
To authorize the Director of Public Utilities to enter into a modification of the Sewer and Water Contracts with the City of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. ($0)
Body
WHEREAS, The City of Columbus and the City of Reynoldsburg have existing Agreements to provide the City of Reynoldsburg with sewer and water utility services; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend such agreements for service to residential and modestly-sized neighborhood scale commercial facilities by including within the service area boundaries a parcel bounded by I-70 on the north and west, the Fairfield/Licking county line on the south and the Tributary Boundary for the Blacklick Interceptor Sewer System Capacity Model on the east, and
WHEREAS, in the usual daily operation of the Department of Public Utilities, in that it is necessary to authorize the Director of Public Utilities to enter into a modification of the Sewer and Water Contracts with the City of Reynoldsburg, Ohio for the preservation of public health, peace, property, safety and welfare; Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
Section 1.
