Explanation

BACKGROUND: This ordinance authorizes the Board of Health to modify an existing contract with Mahogany Search partners for continued comprehensive workforce consulting services for an amount not to exceed $83,250.00. The original contract period was from February 17, 2025 through February 16, 2026 and was authorized by 0054-2025. This modification will extend the contract through June 30, 2026.

Columbus Public Health has a need to extend this contract for comprehensive workforce consulting service because there was a delay in the project timeline due to unanticipated staffing shortages in the Human Resources department. These services will be provided remotely and in-person at Columbus Public Health, located at 240 Parsons Avenue.

A Request for Proposal (RFP), RFQ029244 “Workforce Recruiting Consulting”, was publicly posted to the City of Columbus Vendor Services website from November 14, 2024 to November 22, 2024. A total of 5 vendors submitted responses to the RFP. The CPH evaluation committee, utilizing established scoring criteria, recommended awarding the contract to Mahogany Search partners.

The contract compliance number for Mahogany Search partners is CC-051045.
