To honor and celebrate the Awaken Women of Excellence 2007 Validation Reception on May 11^th, 2007 in the City of Columbus.

WHEREAS, Mission Statement: "Aiming to Impact, Impart and Awaken women to rise to their fullest potential"; and

WHEREAS, Awaken Women of Excellence is dedicated to the call of helping to assist women and children in society fulfill their life's destiny; and

WHEREAS, facilitating the process of change in ones everyday life is a basic principle of applying practical life skills in a safe, sound environment; and

WHEREAS, community volunteers, trained facilitators and resources provide the opportunity for skill training for employment, financial counseling, budgeting skills training, housed management, family and life counseling and team building to assist in the growth and development of all; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That this Council does hereby honor and celebrate the Awaken Women of Excellence 2007 Validation Reception on May 11^th, 2007 in the City of  Columbus.
