Explanation
Background: The Transportation Division is responsible for snow and ice removal and control and for maintaining the City's roadway system. To accomplish this mission the Division requires eight single-axle dump trucks equipped with plows and salt spreaders,and four additional snow plows in case of mechanical breakdown or damage. These trucks will replace older trucks beyond their useful service lives and provide for a more reliable fleet to carry out services provided by the Division.
