This ordinance authorizes the Board of Health to enter into a contract with the Ohio Hispanic Coalition for interpretation services for the period of July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009, in an amount not to exceed $69,240.

These services were advertised through the City's Vendor Services system (SA001951) and the Ohio Hispanic Coalition was the lowest bidder. It is a non-profit organization and is therefore exempt from contract compliance.

Emergency action is requested in order to avoid any delays in providing program services.

FISCAL IMPACT: Funding for this contract is provided with grant funds from the Ohio Department of Health in the amount of $36,442, and with Health Special Revenue Funds in the amount of $32,798.
