Background
Ordinance 1912-2006 authorized the City Auditor to create Fund 294 for the revenues and expenditures associated with operating various facilities where there are non-city tenants and where payments from lease agreements are to offset the costs of operations and maintenance of the facility. The City has entered into a three year lease agreement with the option to renew for three additional three year terms with KA Restaurant Concepts LLC for the operation of the restaurant located in Bi-Centennial Park, part of the Scioto Mile. The Recreation and Parks Department is to collect money from the tenant on a monthly basis and Fund 294 subfund 003 will be used for the accounting, revenue and expenditures, of the collected funds.

Fiscal Impact: There is no fiscal impact to the accounting changes authorized in this ordinance.

Title
To authorize the City Auditor to add subfund 003 titled "Scioto Mile Restaurant" to the Special Revenue Fund 294; and to account for the City's portion of the Scioto Mile Restaurant operation's revenues and expenditures in Fund 294 subfund 003.

Body
WHEREAS, the City of Columbus will use subfund 003 titled "Scioto Mile Restaurant" for the monthly accounting of the City's portion of revenues and expenses associated with the operation of the Scioto Mile Restaurant, and

WHEREAS, the City entered into a 3 year lease with the option to renew three (3) additional three (3) year terms with KA Restaurant Concepts LLC for the operation of the restaurant located at Bicentennial Park, part of the Scioto Mile, and NOW, THEREFORE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

SECTION 1. That the City Auditor is hereby authorized to add subfund 003 titled "Scioto Mile Restaurant" to the Special Revenue Fund 294.
