Title: To authorize the Finance and Management Director to modify ordinance 1257-2015 in order to amend the items awarded to Bug Patrol of Ohio LLC and Champion Pest & Termite Control, LLC for Pest Control Services; and to declare an emergency.
Explanation

BACKGROUND: This ordinance is to modify a previous ordinance (1257-2015) in order to amend the items awarded to both Vendors. Bug Patrol of Ohio, LLC was awarded Sections 1 and 2 (Items 1-166 and Champion Pest & Termite Control LLC was awarded Section 3 (Items 167-190). Each Item represents an address of properties and are organized into sections according to what the Division has responsibility for them. After award it was discovered that some addresses were incorrectly organized and in addition Items 191 and 192 which are for an hourly rate for services beyond the normal scope of the contract weren't awarded at all. The amended award is as follows:
Bug Patrol of Ohio, LLC, Items 1-77, 81-172 and 191 - 192
Champion Pest & Termite Control, Items 78-80, and 173-192
FISCAL IMPACT: No additional monies are required to modify the option contract. Each agency must set aside their own funding for their estimated expenditures.
In order to maintain uninterrupted services to City agencies using Universal Term Contracts and open Purchase Orders, this ordinance is being submitted as an emergency.

Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 1257-2015 authorized the Finance/Purchasing Office to establish contract FL0065247 with Bug Patrol of Ohio LLC and contract FL006246 with Champion Pest & Termite Control LLC for the purchase of Pest Control Services; and
WHEREAS, it was recently discovered that an adjustment in the awarded items needs to be made for a more effective administration of the service contracts by responsible City personnel; and
