Title: To authorize and direct the Director of Finance and Management to execute those documents necessary for the acquisition of the EOTech M914A Gen III Night Vision Monocular Units from ANVS, Inc. for the Division of Police, utilizing Urban Area Security Initiative grant funds in accordance with provisions of a formal bid process; and to declare an emergency. BACKGROUND: This ordinance authorizes the Finance and Management Director to enter into a contract for the purchase of fourteen (14) EOTech M914A Gen III Night Vision Monocular Units from ANVS, Inc. as a result of competitive bidding in the amount of $39,032.00. The Division of Police needs to purchase fourteen (14) of the night vision units to be used during both barricade and surveillance scenarios that assist in the safety of the police officers.

This project is being administered by the Franklin County Office of Homeland Security & Justice Programs under the FY 2014 Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI). The total expenditure of $39,032.00 will be paid by Franklin County through the Urban Area Homeland Security Grant.

Contract Compliance Number: 870576230, expires on December 10, 2015.
