Background: This legislation authorizes the Finance and Management Director to issue purchase orders for various grades of fuels, including ethanol and unleaded fuel (including fuel purchased through MPC Investments LLC: Speedway LLC, SuperFleet) for the Fleet Management Division. Fiscal Impact: This legislation authorizes an expenditure of $200,000.00 with MPC Investments LLC to purchase unleaded fuel for City vehicles. The Fleet Management Division budgeted $5,900,000 for the purchase of gasoline in 2015.
Emergency action is requested to ensure no interruptions in credit card fuel purchases. This fuel is used by all City vehicles, including Police, Fire and Refuse Collection vehicles.
