BACKGROUND: Columbus Public Health desires to enter into a revenue contract with Franklin County Children services for $100,000.00 for the time period of February 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016. This revenue contract will allow Columbus Public Health to continue to lead the CelebrateOne neighborhood level intervention work that addresses social determinants of health in the Linden Community as charged by the Greater Columbus Infant Mortality Task Force with St. Stephens Community House.

This ordinance is needed to authorize a revenue contract with Franklin County Children Services and appropriate $100,000.00 to fund this project.

This ordinance is submitted as an emergency so as to allow the financial transaction to be posted in the City's accounting system as soon as possible. Up to date financial posting promotes accurate accounting and financial management.

FISCAL IMPACT: This project is funded by Franklin County Children Services.
