In addition to the communication from the Board of Elections, the City Clerk has forwarded to City Council the City Attorney’s memorandum dated May 13, 2016 regarding legal sufficiency as required by Section 42-9 of the City Charter which states: “The city clerk shall, upon receipt, forthwith forward to the council the elections authority's report regarding signature validation and the city attorney's findings regarding legal sufficiency.”
