To commemorate the work of Jim Sweeney, and to congratulate Jim on his retirement from the Franklinton Development Association

WHEREAS, Founded in 1797, Franklinton is the oldest community in central Ohio and the Franklinton Development Association community development corporation has lead the charge to encourage new life into the community, and
WHEREAS, Jim Sweeney has served as a devoted Executive Director of the Franklinton Development Association and has been instrumental in several major accomplishments, such as 150 new/rehabbed affordable housing units in Franklinton, and
WHEREAS, After 14 dedicated years Jim has decided to retire and pass the torch to the members of the Franklinton Development Association Board, and
WHEREAS, on behalf of the citizens of Columbus, we commend Jim for his hard work, loyalty, and service to the community, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby congratulate Jim Sweeney on his years of service and his contributions to making the City of Columbus the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
