To recognize the achievements of Mr. David W. Murray and to congratulate him on being elected Grand High Priest
Body
WHEREAS, David W. Murray, the son of Lee and Patricia Murray, is a native of Columbus, Ohio and a graduate of Capital University; and
WHEREAS, David W. Murray has served the Prince Hall Masonic family in many leadership roles including Past Master of St. Mark’s Lodge; Past High Priest of Johnson Chapter #3, and Past Thrice Illustrious Master of Herald Council #3, and is a member of L D Easton Consistory #21, Alla Baba Temple #53, Esther Chapter #3, OES, and Rollin F. Kelley, SR. Court #4, HOJ; and
WHEREAS, David W. Murray was elected Grand High Priest of the most excellent Prince Hall grand Chapter of Ohio Royal Arch Masons in April 2015 and will be honored at a Recognition Banquet on April 29, 2017; and
WHEREAS, through David W. Murray’s vision and leadership and by his acts of charity and benevolence each of these organizations has contributed to the welfare and prosperity of the citizens of the city of Columbus and the overall betterment of the citizens of the state of Ohio; now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby congratulate Mr. David W. Murray on his achievements and we express our appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the City of Columbus.
