Explanation

Center State Enterprises, LLC, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, Hamilton Crossing LLC, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, and Hamilton Crossings BL LLC, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, owners of the platted land, has submitted the plat titled “Dublin-Granville Road and Old Hamilton Road Dedication” to the City Engineer’s Office for review and approval. This plat has been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. The following legislation allows the City to accept said plat located along Dublin-Granville Road from Old Hamilton Road to Hamilton Road on a new alignment and Old Hamilton Road from approximately 1,300’ south of Dublin Granville Road to Dublin-Granville Road and to re-name roads.

Emergency Justification: Emergency action is requested to allow the Dublin Granville Road Realignment project to proceed as currently scheduled.

WHEREAS, the plat titled “Dublin-Granville Road and Old Hamilton Road Dedication” (hereinafter “plat”), has been submitted to the City Engineer’s Office for approval and acceptance; and

WHEREAS, Center State Enterprises, LLC, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, Hamilton Crossing LLC, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, and Hamilton Crossings BL, LLC, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, owners of the platted land, desire to dedicate to the public use all or such parts of Hamilton Road and Dublin-Granville Road as shown on said plat and not heretofore so dedicated; and

WHEREAS, after examination, it has been found to be in the best interest of the City to accept said plat; and

WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Public Service in that this plat should be accepted immediately to prevent unnecessary delays to capital improvement projects, thereby preserving the public health, peace, property, safety and welfare; now, therefore:
