BACKGROUND: This ordinance authorizes the Office of the City Auditor, Division of Income Tax to exercise the second (2nd) of two (2) modification and extensions for up to one (1) additional year for professional services as provided for in contract # EL017527 with Computer Aid, Inc.
The Division of Income Tax requires a Business Analyst to analyze the Division’s policies, procedures and operations to make recommendations to improve the Division’s efficiency. Computer Aid, Inc.’s contract compliance number 232180878 expires on 8/11/2019.
FISCAL IMPACT: This legislation authorizes an expenditure of $60,000.00 with Computer Aid, Inc. for the placement of a Business Analyst with the Division of Income Tax. Funding for this expenditure is budgeted within the Division of Income Tax’s 2017 operating budget.

To authorize the Office of the City Auditor, Division of Income Tax, to modify and extend its contract with Computer Aid, Inc. for the placement of a Business Analyst to increase the Division’s efficiency; and to authorize the expenditure of $60,000.00 from the Division of Income Tax’s Operating Fund. ($60,000.00)

WHEREAS, the Division of Income Tax has a need for analysis of the Division’s policies, procedures and operations in order to improve the Division’s efficiency; and
WHEREAS, Contract # EL017527, with Computer Aid, Inc., effective October 19, 2015, provides for an option for the Division of Income Tax to modify and extend the contract for two (2) additional up to one (1) year terms; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary in the usual daily operation of the Auditor's Office, Division of Income Tax, to authorize the City Auditor to exercise the second (2nd) of two (2) modification and extensions for a six (6) month term with Computer Aid, Inc.; now, therefore:
