Explanation
This ordinance amends the Management Compensation Plan, Ordinance 2713-2013, as amended, by:
Amending insurance provisions and language in Section 16.
Emergency action is recommended in order to begin implementation.
Title
To amend the Management Compensation Plan, Ordinance 2713-2013, as amended, by amending Section 16, Insurance, by repealing existing Section 16, and to declare an emergency.
Body
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Management Compensation Plan by amending Section 16, Insurance; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Management Compensation Plan by repealing existing Section 16, Insurance; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the City in that it is immediately necessary to amend certain provisions of the Management Compensation Plan, thereby preserving the public peace, property, health, safety, and welfare; Now, Therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
Section 1. That the Management Compensation Plan, Ordinance No. 2713-2013, as amended, is hereby amended as follows:

Section 2. That existing Section 16 of Ordinance No. 2713-2013, as amended, is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto, which is hereby made a part hereof, this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor, or ten days after passage if the Mayor neither approves nor vetoes the same.
