To Congratulate The Crane Group On Its 70th Anniversary

WHEREAS, the Crane Group is a family-owned company dedicated to creating enduring partnerships and delivering best-in-class products and services; and

WHEREAS, the Taytec Corporation was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1947, and eventually gave birth to Crane Plastics and the Crane Group; and

WHEREAS, the Crane Group has maintained its Columbus origins and is still headquartered in the City of Columbus at 330 West Spring Street; and

WHEREAS, the Crane Group is passionate about giving back to its community through the Crane Family Foundation and its involvement with and contributions to various organizations, including the YWCA, Columbus Museum of Art, Local Matters, Deaf Initiatives, I Know I Can, Goodwill, OhioHealth Foundation, St. Vincent Family Center, Star House, and Childhood League Center; and

WHEREAS, the Crane Group is celebrating the 70th Anniversary of its founding; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That this Council does hereby congratulate the Crane Group on the 70th Anniversary of its founding on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
