To Honor, Recognize, and Celebrate the 50^th Anniversary of the Organization of the Allegheny West Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists.

Body

WHEREAS, 2017 marks the 50^th anniversary of the organization of the Allegheny West Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists; and

WHEREAS, the Allegheny West Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists is organized around the principles of the spiritual enrichment and growth of its constituents; and

WHEREAS, the Allegheny West Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists has devoted itself to giving back to the community; and

WHEREAS, the Allegheny West Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists has developed and enriched various educational programs for young people, including youth camps and spiritual retreats; and

WHEREAS, the Allegheny West Conference unites Seventh-Day Adventists from across many churches and states; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That this Council does hereby honor, recognize, and celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the Allegheny West Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists on this day, Saturday, November 4th, 2017.
