To Celebrate the 5^th Annual Taste of Clintonville and Recognize Experience Clintonville for Planning and Hosting the Event.

Body

WHEREAS, Taste of Clintonville is an annual event-now in its fifth year-that celebrates all the renowned establishments in the area by hosting a dinner party that features the neighborhood’s most popular independent restaurants; and

WHEREAS, not only did the event include tastings of popular menu items, it also included raffles for private parties and gift certificates for participating restaurants; and

WHEREAS, the 5^th Annual Taste of Clintonville is hosted by Experience Clintonville, a non-profit organization dedicated to highlighting and celebrating all that makes Clintonville great, and has sponsors including KEMBA Financial Credit Union, Heartland Bank, Acorn Distributors, Instant Signs, Robbies Hobbies, Mozart’s and Weiland’s Market; and

WHEREAS, planning and organizing the event requires tremendous effort from volunteers; all the proceeds will go to funding other programs sponsored by Experience Clintonville; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That this Council does hereby celebrate the 5^th Annual Taste of Clintonville and recognize Experience Clintonville for planning and hosting the event on April 12^th, 2018.
