Explanation
BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes the Finance and Management Director to establish a Universal Term Contract (UTC) for the option to purchase Cues parts, software support and service with The Safety Company dba MTech Company. The Division of Sewerage and Drainage is the primary user for Cues Parts, Software Support and Service. Cues Parts, Software Support and Service are used to maintain and repair Telemonitoring Equipment. The Safety Company dba MTech Company is the sole source for these parts and services as they are the only local distributor and authorized service provider for this specific manufacturer. The term of the proposed option contract would be approximately two (2) years, expiring November 30, 2021, with the option to renew for one (1) additional year. In addition, the expenditure of $1.00 is hereby authorized from General Budget Reservation BRPO001107.

FISCAL IMPACT: The expenditure of $1.00 is hereby authorized from General Budget Reservation BRPO001107.
