To honor, recognize and celebrate the life of James C. Bresnahan, Jr.

 

Body

WHEREAS, a member of the greatest generation, James was born on March 21st, 1930 in Knoxville, TN, and passed away on January 24th, 2020 in Columbus, OH; and

 

WHEREAS, after graduating from the University of Tennessee and Carnegie Mellon, James moved to Columbus and became an engineer turned CPA with Deloitte; and

 

WHEREAS, James served as CFO of Liebert Thermal and Power Systems for over a decade; and

 

WHEREAS, James committed himself to Central Ohio, serving as an active member in St. Peter’s Catholic Church and in his neighborhood or condo associations; and

 

WHEREAS, James loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, supporting the teams on the field and on the court; and

 

WHEREAS, most importantly, James was a loving, caring husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather; now, therefore

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

 

That this Council does hereby honor, recognize and celebrate the life of James C. Bresnahan, Jr. and extends our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
