To recognize and honor OhioHealth on being named the Clintonville Chamber of Commerce 2020 Business of the Year.

WHEREAS, OhioHealth is being honored on Thursday, February 27th by the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce for its ongoing work in the Clintonville community; and
WHEREAS, as a member of the Clintonville Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years, OhioHealth has been a supportive business to the Clintonville neighborhood, with over 700 OhioHealth associates living in the 43214 and 43202 zip codes; and
WHEREAS, in April 2019, OhioHealth opened the David P. Blom Administrative Campus on 13 acres of formerly brownfield space in Clintonville that now hosts 1,575 jobs on site; and
WHEREAS, OhioHealth is an active member of the Clintonville neighborhood supporting various organizations including its support of the Clintonville-Beechwold Resource Center through an annual sponsorship, representation on the board, and group volunteering throughout the year; and
WHEREAS, additional OhioHealth philanthropic activities include group volunteering for Earth Day in the Clintonville community, ringing bell for The Salvation Army at Kroger’s, and presentations to Clintonville Rotary; and
WHEREAS, Columbus City Council thanks OhioHealth for all the philanthropic work and dedication to our beloved Clintonville community; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby recognize and honor OhioHealth for its contributions to Clintonville and the City of Columbus.
