To Recognize the Columbus Contingent Representing Our City at South by Southwest

WHEREAS, on Monday March 16th, Atlas Venture Partners is hosting the first Columbus House Experience at SXSW; and
WHEREAS, over two dozen businesses, Columbus restaurants, musicians, and artists have come together to celebrate and showcase the spirit of Columbus in Austin, Texas; and
WHEREAS, by attending SXSW, Columbus musicians, non-profits, businesses, and venture firms will be connected to new audiences; and
WHEREAS, the delegation includes Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, Preston’s Burgers, North High Brewing, Experience Columbus, Nationwide Innovation, and Loud Capital; and
WHEREAS, over the course of the week, the Columbus contingent will represent the urban innovative and cultural energy of our city; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
That this Council does hereby recognize the Columbus contingent representing our city at SXSW.
