Explanation

The Director of Finance and Management is hereby authorized to associate all General Budget Reservations resulting from this ordinance with the appropriate Universal Term Contract Purchase Agreement for Light Duty Trucks. This purchase has been approved by the Division of Fleet Management and will replace the following brass tag items: 21367, 21944, 23751, 21968, 21760, 24169, 23964, 24237, 24238, 21502 and 21504.

The following Purchase Agreement association requires approval by City Council in order for the Division to expend more than $100,000.00, per 329.19(g):

George Byers Sons, Inc., PA004790/PO235894-1, Light Duty Trucks, expires 6/30/23.

SUPPLIER: George Byers Sons, Inc. Vendor #006008 MAJ (FID #31-4139860), Expires 12/4/20

The company is not debarred according to the Excluded Party Listing System of the Federal Government or prohibited from being awarded a contract according to the Auditor of State Unresolved Findings for Recovery Certified Search.

FISCAL IMPACT: $308,400.00 is budgeted in the Sewerage Operating Sanitary Fund and $28,000.00 is budgeted in the Stormwater Operating Fund in object class 06 Capital Outlay and is needed for this purchase.

$320,310.00 was spent in 2019 for Trucks and Vehicles on the UTC contracts.
$242,493.00 was spent in 2018 for Trucks and Vehicles on the UTC contracts.
