Explanation
BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes the Finance and Management Director to enter into a contract on behalf of the Office of Construction Management with RW Setterlin Building Company for the renovation of the Traffic Maintenance Facility at 1820 East 17th Avenue. This contract consists of the renovation of four spaces for offices within the Traffic Maintenance Facility, this includes but is not limited to minor interior demolition, CMU wall construction, removal of two overhead doors, painting, carpeting and fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical system upgrades.
Formal bids were solicited and the City received four (4) bids (0 FBE, 0 MBE) on November 20, 2020 as follows:
