Explanation
1. BACKGROUND
M/I Homes of Central Ohio, LLC, an Ohio limited Liability company, by Timothy C. Hall Jr., Area President, owner of the platted land, has submitted the plat titled “Hoover Farms Section 5” to the City Engineer’s Office for review and approval. This plat has been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. The following legislation allows the City to accept said plat for property located South of Walnut Street and West of Lee Road.

2. FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the City to accept the plat.

3. EMERGENCY DESIGNATION
Emergency action is requested to allow development of this subdivision to proceed as currently scheduled.

To accept the plat titled “Hoover Farms Section 5”, from M/I Homes of Central Ohio, LLC, an Ohio limited Liability company, by Timothy C. Hall Jr., Area President, owner of the platted land; and to declare an emergency. ($0.00)

Body
WHEREAS, the plat titled “Hoover Farms Section 5” (hereinafter “plat”), has been submitted to the City Engineer’s Office for approval and acceptance; and

WHEREAS, M/I Homes of Central Ohio, LLC, an Ohio limited Liability company, by Timothy C. Hall Jr., Area President, owner of the platted land, desires to dedicate to the public use all or such all of Bowery Peak Lane, Pocatello Drive, Vance Way, walnut Street and easements shown on said plat and not heretofore so dedicated; and

WHEREAS, after examination, it has been found to be in the best interest of the City to accept said plat; and

WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Public Service in that it is immediately necessary to authorize the acceptance of this plat so development of this subdivision can proceed as currently scheduled thereby preserving the public health, peace, property, safety and welfare; now, therefore

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
