To honor and thank Tracy Swanson for her service to the City of Columbus

WHEREAS, on June 17, 1996, Tracy Swanson began her service to the City of Columbus; and
WHEREAS, on February 28, 2021, Tracy concludes her nearly twenty five year career with the Columbus Development Department, Housing Division as the Rental Housing Program Manager; and
WHEREAS, during her tenure, Tracy has providing funding for thousands of affordable rental units throughout the City of Columbus including permanent supportive housing, the preservation of project based Section 8 units, and the development of smoke free housing; and
WHEREAS, in all of her efforts around affordable rental housing, Tracy has always considered the low and moderate income households who will be served by the housing being developed and advocated for their needs; and
WHEREAS, The City of Columbus is grateful for the efforts of Tracy Swanson and the long lasting impact her work has had on our community, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: To honor, recognize and celebrate Tracy Swanson on the occasion of her retirement from the City of Columbus on Sunday, February 28, 2021.
