BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes the Finance and Management Director to establish a Universal Term Contract (UTC) for the option to purchase Pool Chemicals with Bonded Chemicals, Inc. The Department of Recreation and Parks is the sole user of pool chemicals. Sodium Hypochlorite, Hydrochloric Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, and Sodium Thiosulfate are used to maintain hygienic conditions in pools and fountains. Total Estimated Annual Expenditure: $ 53,282.50, Department of Recreation and Parks, the sole user.
