Explanation
BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes the Finance and Management Director to associate all General Budget reservations resulting from this ordinance with the following Universal Term Contract Purchase Agreements listed below for the purchase of DO Probes for the Division of Sewerage and Drainage, Jackson Pike Wastewater Treatment Plant. These parts will replace the existing DO probes, which are 15 years old, and obsolete. The probes are used to measure the dissolved oxygen level in our aeration tanks, which is a vital part of the treatment process. Installation will be performed by City employees.

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Office has established Universal Term Contract Purchase Agreements for the purchase of DO Probes; and
