WHEREAS, White Castle remains a Columbus, Ohio based family-owned business devoted to its vision to feed the souls of craver generations everywhere, and
WHEREAS, the over 10,000 team members of White Castle are dedicated to creating memorable moments everyday, creating a family inclusive environment, being moment motivated, results driven, and focused on continually craving improvement, and
WHEREAS, throughout 2021, White Castle is celebrating its 100th birthday, with recent recognition of the great dignity and respect it accords team members resulting in White Castle being certified as a "Great Place to Work", and
WHEREAS, its hot and tasty food is available at its 358 restaurants and in grocery store freeze aisles everywhere to satisfy cravings morning, noon and night, and
WHEREAS, this national institution has its Home Office in the City of Columbus; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby recognize and celebrate White Castle's 100th Birthday as an anchor of the Columbus business community.
