To Recognize Basecamp Recovery Center on its One Year Anniversary

 

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, Basecamp Recovery Center is a physician owned and operated comprehensive outpatient addiction and mental health treatment facility that provides compassionate care, vital medications, and counseling services; and

 

WHEREAS, following its opening on August 3, 2020, Basecamp Recovery Center has focused on providing care for vulnerable residents by welcoming anyone who needs assistance without an appointment and regardless of their ability to pay, including Medicaid recipients and those with no insurance; and

 

WHEREAS, Basecamp Recovery Center works with other organizations and professionals in central Ohio, including Franklin County Courts, to take and treat patient referrals as they work to provide services for individuals most in need of care; and

 

WHEREAS, since beginning operations, Basecamp Recovery Center has provided services to 500 unique patients, averaging seeing more than 50 patients per day and 100 patients each week; and

 

WHEREAS, through its focus on caring for individuals most in need, Basecamp Recovery Center provides a critical service to the people of Columbus by improving the health of individuals, families, and the entire community; now, therefore

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council does hereby recognize Basecamp Recovery Center on its one year anniversary and thanks its leadership and employees for the ongoing services they provide to the people of Columbus.
