Explanation
BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes the Director of Finance and Management to modify past, present and future contracts and purchase orders with Westwater Supply Corp. Westwater Supply Corp has changed ownership to Westwater Holdings LLC, dba Westwater Supply Corp, made effective on July 1, 2021. This ordinance authorizes the assignment of all past, present and future business done by the City of Columbus from Westwater Supply Corp FID # 31-4427980 to Westwater Holdings LLC, dba Westwater Supply Corp, FID 86-3609596.
No additional funds are necessary to modify the option contract as requested. There is no change in the type of products being procured and the original contract was formally bid. The original terms and conditions remain in effect.
EMERGENCY DESIGNATION: The Department of Finance and Management respectfully requests this legislation be considered an emergency in order to maintain an uninterrupted supply of Plumbing Supplies.
FISCAL IMPACT: No additional funding is required to modify the option contract. The Department of Finance and Management and other departments utilizing this contract must set aside their own funding for their estimated expenditures.

WHEREAS, the Department of Finance and Management, Purchasing Office has an option contract and open purchase orders for Plumbing Supplies for use citywide; and,
WHEREAS, Westwater Supply Corp has been acquired by Westwater Holdings LLC, dba Westwater Supply Corp and in addition to notifying the City, Westwater Holdings LLC, dba Westwater Supply Corp has agreed to honor the past, present and future contracts and agreements; and,
