WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Development wishes to modify a contract with American Mechanical Group, Inc., by increasing the contract amount by $150,000.00; and
WHEREAS, this contract provides mechanical repairs and replacements to low and very low income owner occupants; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Development in that it is immediately necessary to authorize the Director to modify the agreement with American Mechanical Group, Inc. so that low and moderate owner occupants can be served without interruption, all for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
SECTION 1. That the Director of the Department of Development is hereby authorized to modify contract number PO316368 with American Mechanical Group, Inc. to increase the contract amount by $150,000.00.
