Explanation
BACKGROUND: This legislation authorizes the Finance and Management Director to establish a Universal Term Contract (UTC) for the option to purchase Cues Parts, Software Support and Services with The Safety Company dba Mtech Company. The Division of Sewerage and Drainage is the sole user of OEM Cues parts, software and services for telemonitoring equipment used to investigate service lines. The Safety Company dba Mtech Company is the sole source for these parts and services as they are the only authorized distributor and service provider for this specific manufacturer. The term of the proposed option contract would be approximately two (2) years, expiring November 30, 2024, with the option to renew for one (1) additional year. In addition, the expenditure of $1.00 is hereby authorized from General Budget Reservation BRPO002025.

FISCAL IMPACT: The expenditure of $1.00 is hereby authorized from General Budget Reservation BRPO002025.
