Explanation

This ordinance authorizes the Director of Technology to modify and extend an existing agreement with OnActuate Consulting, Inc., Inc. through extension of purchase order PO303024. No new or additional funds are associated with this extension. Rather, the extension makes the remaining funds on the above-referenced purchase order available for an additional year, to December 31, 2023.

On November 22, 2021, Ordinance 3023-2021 authorized the Director of the Department of Technology (DoT), on behalf of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), to enter into contract with OnActuate Consulting, Inc.to finalize Phases I and II of the B2GNow Certification Management project. Since the original contract, associated with the above-mentioned ordinance, will expire on December 31 of this year, DoT would like to extend it for one full year, through December 31, 2023, via the extension of purchase order PO303024.

As explained in ordinance 3023-2021, the B2Gnow application will replace the city’s limited-function BiZTrak system and will include a compliance module and the ability to access utilization reports. This new system will allow ODI to better manage and access the City’s compliance data.

FISCAL IMPACT

No additional costs are associated with this ordinance. Passage of this ordinance makes the remaining funds on the above-referenced purchase order available for an additional year, to December 31, 2023.
