WHEREAS, over a span of 60 years, LaMont Ransom worked with many of his brothers, sisters, cousins, sons and daughters, he partnered with some of the largest intercity initiatives, he supported the Mayor with City of Columbus projects and executed over 4,000 demolitions to date.

WHEREAS, LaMont Ransom has made so many friends along the way, and has built the reputation as a strong man of faith, a man of his word and a man of kindness.

WHEREAS, in his upcoming retirement, LaMont looks forward to more time with family, traveling with his wife and continuing to serve the Lord.

WHEREAS, Elyot LaMont Ransom is worthy and deserving of recognition for his 60 years of faithful and excellent service to the citizens of Columbus; we wish him continued good health, happiness and prosperity as he turns the page on the next chapter of his life.
