To Congratulate Pastor Frederick V. LaMarr on his Twenty-fifth Pastoral Anniversary at Family Ministry Baptist Church

WHEREAS, Frederick V. LaMarr is a Columbus native, lifelong resident, and graduate of Columbus City Schools; and
WHEREAS, Pastor LaMarr has faithfully served Family Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio since 1997; and
WHEREAS, Pastor LaMarr has provided the Columbus community with invaluable faith-based guidance through several challenges, including violence prevention, family development, and youth mentorship; and
WHEREAS, numerous organizations, including ADAMH and the Columbus Teacher’s Association, have recognized Pastor LaMarr for his contributions; and
WHEREAS, Pastor LaMarr actively volunteers his time to support individuals in the criminal justice system, leading to his being named the Pastor of the Year by the Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council congratulates Pastor Frederick V. LaMarr on his twenty-fifth pastoral anniversary at Family Ministry Baptist Church and commends him for over a quarter-century of service to the Columbus community.
