Explanation

Background

This legislation authorizes the Director of Development to enter into a service contract with Revere Roofing Company, Inc. for the Division of Housing’s Roof Replacement Program, in an amount up to $150,000.00, using bond funds.

The department advertised RFQ024413 through Vendor Services and accepted bids through Bonfire, the City of Columbus’s vendor procurement platform, requesting contractors to provide roof replacement services.  The effort was advertised from March 20, 2023, to April 11, 2023. The department notified 205 registered vendors, seven bids were received, and two were deemed non-responsive.

The Director of Development requests to enter into contract with the three lowest, responsive, responsible, and best bidders as multiple contractors are needed for this program. Each contract will be under a separate ordinance.
