Explanation
1. Background
This legislation authorizes an amendment to Ordinance No. 0464-2023, due to the incorrect property owner name listed in the ordinance.
The owner name listed in Ordinance 0464-2023 is “LV Collective” when it should have been “Lane and Norwich Columbus Owner, LLC”. The legislation must be amended to allow execution of valid agreements with the correct property owner.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 0464-2023, passed February 3, 2023, authorized the Director of Public Service to execute the necessary documents for the City to grant encroachments to LV Collection allowing them to extend into the public rights-of-way at 222 West Lane Avenue; and
WHEREAS, at the time of the creation of the deed, it was discovered that Ordinance No. 0464-2023 was incorrect and that LV Collective is the name of the business, not the property owner’s name; and
WHEREAS, the correct property owner name is Lane and Norwich Columbus Owner, LLC; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:
SECTION 1. That the property owner's name listed in Ordinance No. 0464-2023as LV Collective is amended to read Lane and Norwich Columbus Owner, LLC.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
