To Recognize and Celebrate The Pride Fund & The Venture Atlas’ fifth annual VENTURE OUT celebration at Stonewall Columbus

Whereas, on Thursday June15th The Pride Fund and The Venture Atlas, are hosting the fifth annual VENTURE OUT celebration at Stonewall Columbus; and
Whereas, over three dozen investors from across the country have come together with Columbus restaurants, musicians, corporations, and artists to celebrate and showcase the intersection of the LGBTQ+ and the investment communities; and
Whereas, many venture firms, angel syndicates, PE firms, and institutional investors will have the opportunity to connect with great LGBTQIA+ businesses; and
Whereas, over the course of the week local LGBT+ programs, such as the LEAP Accelerator will represent the urban, innovative, and cultural energy of our city at sibling program events; and
Whereas, this will be an opportunity to showcase the spirit of Columbus and grant us greater national visibility as a smart, open, and kind economic region for ALL; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS: That this Council recognizes and celebrates the Pride Fund and The Venture Atlas’ fifth annual Venture Out celebration at Stonewall Columbus.
