Explanation
1. Background
The Trident Broad Development, LLC by David Pizzotti, authorized signatory, owner of the platted land, has submitted the plat titled “Dedication Plat of Westbourne Avenue Extension and Easements” to the City Engineer’s Office for review and approval. This plat has been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. The following ordinance allows the City to accept said plat located on Westbourne Avenue to support new development in the area.

2. Fiscal Impact
There is no fiscal impact to the City to accept the plat.

3. Emergency Justification
Emergency action is requested to complete the required transfer so that the project may be advertised within the current construction season to make the needed improvements in the area and to ensure the safety of the traveling public.

WHEREAS, the plat titled “Dedication Plat of Westbourne Avenue Extension and Easements” (hereinafter “plat”) has been submitted to the City Engineer’s Office for approval and acceptance; and

WHEREAS, Trident Broad Development, LLC by David Pizzotti, authorized signatory, authorized signatory, owner of the platted land, desires to dedicate to the public use all or such parts of the avenues and easements shown on said plat and not heretofore so dedicated; and

WHEREAS, after examination, it has been found to be in the best interest of the City to accept said plat; and

WHEREAS, an emergency exists in the usual daily operation of the Department of Public Service in that said plat should be accepted immediately to allow new development in the area of Dedication Plat of Westbourne Avenue Extension and Easements to proceed as quickly as possible, to ensure the safety of the traveling public, all for the immediate preservation of t...
