Renovations will include replacing the existing shelter, new playground equipment, and an improved parking lot. There will also be new workout stations, site furnishings, and additional trees. The project addresses multiple stakeholder concerns, 311 requests, and community feedback. Improvements will address the deteriorated areas and will be renovated into a more welcoming and lively space. This comprehensive renovation aims to create a family friendly community park which will build capacity to serve as a special events hub for the Linden area.
This project aligns with the OneLinden Community Action Plan's Ten Big Ideas. Namely, to build community investments, connect the community, and support resident health.
