Explanation
This ordinance authorizes the Director of the Department of Development to enter into contract with the non-profit Urban Land Institute (ULI) Columbus to provide planning support for an upcoming housing forum.
ULI Columbus is planning to host, in partnership with the City of Columbus, a full-day conference that gathers development and human services professionals, community and business leaders, and advocates alike. The event will focus on exploring efforts to address housing supply, zoning reform, and the best paths to promote sustainable, equitable, and dense transit-oriented development, with case studies from Columbus and peer cities across the U.S.
