To honor and recognize Pastor Quentin L. Respress and members of The Kingdom Power Baptist Church on their 1^st Anniversary celebration.

Body

WHEREAS, Pastor Quentin L. Respress and the members of  The Kingdom Power Baptist Church will be celebrating their 1^st Anniversary on Sunday, June 29, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Quentin L. Respress, is an anointed and dedicated man of God who has been called upon to serve as a guiding light in our community.  His example of ministering to the spiritual, intellectual, and emotional needs of all people shows us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us; and

WHEREAS, The Kingdom Power Baptist Church will celebrate their journey and presence in the community on the west side of Columbus; and

WHEREAS, The Kingdom Power Baptist Church in the past year has partnered with the J. Ashburn Jr. Youth Community Center, Heartland Victoria Nursing Home and Isabel Ridgeway Nursing Home to provide positive spiritual guidance and direction to the people served by the facilities; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS:

That we hereby honor and recognize Pastor Quentin L. Respress and members of The Kingdom Power Baptist Church on their 1^st Anniversary celebration.
