BACKGROUND
This legislation authorizes the Director of the Department of Development to modify a contract with R.L. Pomante Contractors LLC to add $1,200.00 to pay for additional work already completed beyond the scope of the original contract.

In 2018, the Director of the Department of Development entered into contract with R.L. Pomante Contractors to provide home repair services at 133 S. Ogden Avenue (PO105734) as part of the Housing Division’s Hilltop Home Repair Program. In late 2018, it was determined that some additional home repair work was needed, a change order was prepared, the work was completed, but the paperwork to modify the contract was misplaced and a contract modification was not executed. This was discovered in mid-2020 during an internal financial review of open encumbrances. This ordinance seeks to modify the contract and add the amount needed to close out the project.
Emergency action is requested in order to pay the contractor for work already completed.
FISCAL IMPACT: No new appropriation is needed as funding is available on ACPO004967 (ord. 0291-2020). A PO will be established from ACPO004967.
CONTRACT COMPLIANCE: the vendor number is 018612 and expires 7/27/2022.
